Werkstudent (m/f/d) - Structural Materials

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a motivated student (m/f/d) to join the Materials & Processes department in Manching as a Werkstudent (working student) in Structural Materials.

This is an ideal opportunity for a full-time student (m/f/d) seeking a working student position to gain insight into the work of a development engineer in Materials & Processes.

Role Details:

  • Location: Manching
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Working Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week, with flexible working hours.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support in the daily operations of the Materials and Processes department.
  • Creation and execution of test programs.
  • Assistance with experimental setups.
  • Evaluation of test and experimental data.
  • Updating documentation.
  • Carrying out smaller design tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Enrolled full-time student (m/f/d) in engineering disciplines (preferably Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science).
  • Practical experience in materials testing is desirable.
  • Driving license Class B.
  • Fluent English and very good German language skills.
  • Knowledge of CAD programs (CATIA) is an advantage.
  • Experience with MS Office and Google Apps.
