Werkstudent (m/f/d) in Artificial Intelligence for Structural Materials
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a motivated student (m/f/d) to join the Materials & Processes department in Manching, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time student seeking a part-time role (approximately 18 hours per week) to gain practical experience as a development engineer in the field of Materials & Processes.
Location & Duration:
- Location: Manching, Germany
- Start Date: Immediately
- Duration: 12 Months

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing of material data for analysis and modeling.
- Development and implementation of Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for material-related questions.
- Evaluation and interpretation of large datasets to support material research.
- Development and execution of Big Data analyses to identify patterns and trends in material science data.
- Continuous development and improvement of existing models and algorithms based on the latest research findings.
- Documentation of results and creation of reports for the research team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Enrolled full-time student (m/f/d) in an engineering discipline (preferably Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab.
- Good knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques.
- Experience with MS Office and Google Apps.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently.
- Basic interest in natural sciences.
- Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).
