About the Role
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program, sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, offers young professionals a unique opportunity for paid, valuable work experience abroad. This specific VIE position is for an Export Control role within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Getafe, Spain, for a duration of 12 months. You will be joining the Export Control department.
Main Tasks & Accountabilities
- Assist in the definition and implementation of the internal compliance program and Technology Control Plans.
- Engage with all export control matters handled by the department, providing support to the Spanish team members, and adhering to SP, EU, and US export regulations.
- Support the management of licenses and agreements.
Business Travel
This role involves approximately two business trips per quarter within Europe, requiring you to be available for such travel.
Required Skills & Experience
- University educated with strong business acumen and ethical conduct in a highly regulated business environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills for drafting policies, procedures, reports, and memorandums.
- Demonstrate a good level of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and trust.
- Commercially fluent in both English and Spanish.
VIE Eligibility Criteria
- Be a citizen of the European Union (plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein), a graduate aged 28 or younger.
- Have fulfilled any military obligations for your country.
