Travel Security & Resilience Analyst

Role Overview

This role reports to the Security Operations and Resilience Manager within the Group Security and Resilience Team. You will be responsible for sourcing and analysing intelligence on internal and external risks that could jeopardise the safety and security of our people, sites, and assets. Your work will involve developing effective plans to mitigate these risks in support of our business targets, and assisting Subject Matter Experts in the delivery of key team goals.

What you will be doing:

• Provide global guidance for the Rolls-Royce Travel Security programme, ensuring a globally aligned approach to evaluating travel security risks and implementing effective approval processes and risk mitigation plans for business travellers.
• Liaise with service providers to ensure accurate business traveller tracking across all regions and businesses, and monitor new and emerging geopolitical risks to provide balanced threat assessments for business activities in developed and emerging markets.
• Utilise information from service providers and open-source intelligence to regularly review country risk ratings.
• Mentor the Travel Security element of the GBS Portal, ensuring travel security information is up-to-date and reviewing travel security requests for Amber and Red countries to ensure compliance with company policy.
• Partner with major hotel chains and secure ground transportation companies to identify suitable accommodation and transportation for business travellers and international assignees.
• Provide relevant and balanced travel security advice and training to all travellers, tailored to their destination and personal profile.
• Ensure travel security procedures align with policies defined by the Group Security and Resilience Team Director and regularly review and update training materials.
• Support the wider Group Security and Resilience team in achieving key goals, including but not limited to the GSART Dashboard, Resilience Assurance Visits, Bow Tie risk modelling, Business Continuity reviews, Resilience Snapshot activities, and ensuring non-compliance actions are progressed towards closure.
• Provide incident support to the Group Security Director during incidents affecting employees on business travel, acting as an Incident Support Team loggist when required.
• Develop and deliver effective risk mitigation plans for events hosted or attended by Rolls-Royce personnel (e.g., conferences, air shows), and work with the Head of Group Security and Resilience, EMEA to protect the company's people and reputation.

• Proven record of implementing risk management strategies across multi-business organisations.
• Credibility, ability, and influence to operate at the highest levels of the Company.
• Proven ability to collate and evaluate information on geopolitical, resilience, and physical security risks, producing detailed and accurate threat assessment reports.
• Good understanding of security, resilience, and risk management best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and implement risk and governance strategies, policies, and processes.
• Ability to influence senior managers to adopt and implement policy and behavioural changes, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical best practice.
