IT Product Owner (f/m)
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an IT Product Owner to join our Engineering Flight and Integration Tests department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing innovative and scalable test means to support test specialists in their daily activities (planification, execution, analysis). As part of the Test Management team, you will be involved in driving and developing software solutions aiming at enabling key flight testing capabilities for current production ramp-up as well as future aircraft projects (such as ZeroE).
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the Agile Product Backlog: Translate operational flight test needs into technical features and user stories, and drive their validation.
- Coordinate IT projects & multinational teams: Lead internal and subcontracted teams to deliver software solutions on time, within budget, and aligned with the project roadmap.
- Gather requirements across A/C lifecycle: Capture functional needs (FAL, flightline, delivery phases) to build robust interfaces between legacy tools, future applications, and the datahub.
- Ensure operational run & system reliability: Maintain around 20 interfaces, resolve incidents with L1/L3 support, and participate in on-call duties (public holidays and Christmas week).
- Drive continuous improvement: Enhance IT tool development chains, maintain non-regression test plans, and report progress regularly to project stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Software/Test Engineer with practical experience in Agile project management or Product Owner responsibilities.
- Strong skills in software architecture, application development, and database management (SQL).
- Proficiency or familiarity with computer languages/tools such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Angular, GIT, Bash, or Linux.
- Negotiation level of English and French.
