About the Role
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Technical Project Manager in Facility Management, specializing in Building & Fire Protection Technology. This key role ensures adherence to all legal requirements for company buildings and establishes new standards for collaboration with service providers and partners.
What You Will Do
- Take responsibility for and support Facility Management with a steering, monitoring, and coordination function.
- Relieve the operational Facility Management by centrally overseeing and coordinating expert inspections (SV-Prüfungen) of complex building services, including HVAC, CO warning systems, smoke and heat extraction systems (RWA), and fire extinguishing systems.
- Support Facility Management infrastructure projects with concept and plan reviews, and actively participate in construction-phase expert site inspections to minimize compliance risks.
- Analyze expert reports post-inspection, prioritize defect rectification using entrepreneurial thinking, and manage operational implementation by internal FM maintenance teams or external service providers. Monitor service provider implementation and confirm completion to the relevant authorities/representatives.
- Keep the technical legal register for Facility Management up-to-date, analyze legal changes (e.g., BetrSichV, BImSchG, regional SPrüfV), and derive concrete recommendations for site operations.
- Serve as a central, independent contact and advisor for FM management, authorities, inspection organizations (TÜV, DEKRA), professional associations, and insurance companies, including site inspections for audits and reviews.
- Handle cross-functional topics in collaboration with FM teams and maintain continuous exchange with national colleagues and transnational subject matter experts.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in Facility Management, Real Estate Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Facility Management or Service Provider Management, with at least 2–3 years in Contract Management.
- Sound knowledge of CAFM systems and Google Workspace.
- Experience in managing experts in the construction industry.
- German and English language skills at C1 level (written and spoken).
Location
The role is based in Donauwörth, Germany, where helicopters are developed from initial concept to flight-ready products.
