Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth is seeking a Technical Data Engineer with a focus on Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) and spare part configuration for their helicopter fleets (H145, H135, BO105).
Role Overview:
The Technical Documentation team creates spare part configurations, descriptions, and illustrated data that enable customers to identify the necessary spare parts during helicopter maintenance. The IPC is a crucial document for both external customers and internal Airbus support organizations. This role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Logistics, Quality, Airworthiness Office, and all Support&Service departments to ensure high customer satisfaction regarding spare part availability.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and support the design process to select maintenance concepts and spare configurations, ensuring design solutions meet customer expectations.
- Independently analyze change proposals and estimate efforts for Support&Service deliverables.
- Assess spare parts using technical documents (bills of material, drawings, manufacturer documents), define spare configurations/kits, and create/maintain catalog data and illustrations.
- Manage spare part data and availability in SAP, and define, coordinate, and release the "Material-Evolution-Table" (MET).
- Prepare, redact, and validate technical documentation in accordance with international standards to ensure safe and efficient maintenance and aircraft operation.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in a technical field related to maintainability of mechanical or electrical systems, or a comparable qualification (e.g., "Techniker") with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in creating illustrated parts catalogs for helicopters; knowledge of S1000D is beneficial.
- Experience in configuration management and IT skills.
- General knowledge of helicopters and associated systems.
- Fluent English is required; knowledge of French and German is a plus.
