Rheinmetall Defence UK Ltd is looking for a dedicated Tax Specialist to join their team in Almondsbury, Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a key opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and develop within a vital function.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Preparation of all US tax filings for Rheinmetall entities, including local, corporate, VAT, employee, and R&D taxes.
  • Management of all local operational tax compliance matters, notices of payments, and tax audits for the Rheinmetall tax groups.
  • Oversight of annual and periodic tax obligations, forecasts, and the calculation of current and deferred taxes for financial statements, including tax reconciliations.
  • Interaction with business functions and corporate management, providing tax-related analysis to support internal decision-making processes.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all tax-related matters for the Rheinmetall group tax function.
  • Supporting Rheinmetall companies in the UK with tax planning and tax analysis on projects and contracts, including the tax aspects of government contracts.
  • Assisting with the completion of transfer pricing arrangements and documentation.
  • Further development of the tax compliance management system and overseeing tax-related internal controls and SAO compliance requirements.

What Qualifications You Should Have:

  • Successfully completed business studies with a focus on taxes or comparable training.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK Statutory accounting regulations.
  • Masters in Taxation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.
  • Specific Tax qualification preferred.
  • Several years of professional experience with sound knowledge of national and international tax law (within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, business consulting, or legal environment).
  • Confident and engaging appearance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with non-financial managers and all levels of personnel.
