Helicopter Maintenance Technician - Avionics Specialist

Airbus Helicopters España is looking for an experienced Helicopter Maintenance Technician, specializing in Avionics, to join their team on a permanent basis. This onsite position is based at the operator's facilities in Torrejón de Ardoz.

The ideal candidate will possess an LMA B2 License and have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience. Crucially, you must have type ratings on helicopters from the AIRBUS family, with a primary focus on the EC135 and AS365 models.

Your role will involve performing preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as electrical repairs on Airbus family helicopters. A key aspect of this position is ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, applicable regulations, and the company's internal procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on Airbus helicopters.
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, modifications, and replacements of electrical and avionics components on aircraft.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot failures in the helicopter's electrical and avionics systems.
  • Meticulously document all maintenance actions performed in technical records.
  • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to execute tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and internal company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous technical training and update programs.
