About the Role
As a Systems Integration Engineer based in Warton, you will play a crucial role in developing early lifecycle concepts within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program. You will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of fighter aircraft and advancing technologies that will defend the UK for generations to come, while supporting our global customer base.
Core Duties
- Leading or supporting technical studies to inform system requirements, architecture, and concepts.
- Supporting the assessment of system concepts, including technical viability, adaptability, and interoperability.
- Attending and leading meetings and workshops to drive studies forward.
- Contributing expertise to the understanding of risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Attending planning and coordination meetings and reporting on work progress.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in systems engineering techniques and approaches, such as Model Based Engineering, including supporting methods and toolsets.
- Experience in the integration of complex engineering products using structured toolsets (e.g., CAMEO Toolsets) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, coupled with a proactive and self-starting attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster partnerships with internal and external customers.
