About the Role
Airbus Defence and Space is establishing a brand-new team for an exciting and challenging new upcoming military program within the Military Derivatives department of Air Power. We are looking for several Systems & Equipment and Aerostructures Buyers (f/m) to join our project plateau based in Toulouse Saint Martin, France. Your Challenges
As a member of our team, you will develop and perform the following challenging tasks and concurrent activities:
- Manage the sourcing activity from tendering to contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements (Internal - External).
- Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial, and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to ensure complete application of terms and conditions and expected supplier performance (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).
- Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
- Contribute to Multi-functional / Multi-divisional teams throughout the tendering, contracting, and contract lifecycle phases.
- Actively participate in Multi-functional Team (MFT) meetings.
Your Profile
As a successful candidate, you should demonstrate the following abilities, skills, and competencies with proven experience:
- Experience in business relations managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and ability to build and execute strategic plans.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven team mindset and ability to work with people from different functions and countries.
- Negotiation level in English is required; fluent French is essential. Spanish language is a plus.
This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities. Depending on the portfolio, French nationality may be required. This job requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
