About the Role
MBDA is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to contribute to the CAMM family product line. This role will focus on the development of software updates and advancements in missile system performance. You will be instrumental in establishing requirements, defining system architectures, and guiding the verification and validation process to ensure product certification and customer acceptance.
Your Responsibilities
As part of the CAMM Family Systems Design team, specifically within the Systems Software and Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the delivery of munition software updates and spiral development programmes.
- Planning and conducting technical studies into missile performance using complex mathematical models.
- Assisting projects in understanding key system design choices and estimating performance indicators such as range and terminal accuracy.
- Engaging with the full systems lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, proving strategies, and evidence generation for certification.
- Coordinating functional domain teams, including Seekers, Guidance, Control and Navigation, Simulation and Modelling, and Lethality.
About You
This role requires a Systems Design Engineer with strong systems engineering skills to support missile systems programmes. You will be involved in providing system level assurance, including performance, security, and safety.

Working Arrangements & Security

- All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
