System Performance Lead - Sparkworks Programme
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Sparkworks team, working on programmes for groundbreaking weapon systems. We are looking for a System Performance Lead to be responsible for a number of key activities.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting system-level performance evaluations of novel concepts against their requirements.
- Conducting trade studies to inform lower-level design.
- Generating and agreeing scenarios with key customers to be used for scenario-based performance evaluation.
- Definition of the modelling strategy to conduct these assessments.
- Ownership of the development and delivery of models and algorithms.
- Delivery of Performance Statements to customers.
- Coordinating inputs from wider functions to support system design and performance analysis.
What we're looking for from you:
- DV cleared engineer with a broad systems engineering background, preferably covering all phases of development from concept to certification.
- Experience in the management, development, and use of tools, simulations, and algorithms produced in Matlab and Simulink.
- Ability to work at pace within a broad multi-functional team, delivering complex information to project collaborators.
- Experience in data analysis and technical report writing.
- Ability to solve problems collaboratively with colleagues and partners.
