// Role Specification

Rolls-Royce is seeking an SSG team member to join the Production Test Facility (PTF) in Derby. As part of the Civil Aerospace Assembly, Test and Controls organisation, you will provide essential lineside support to engine build and test functions, with a specific focus on the Large Engines tooling team.

About the Role:

In this full-time, 3-shift rota position, you will work closely with the Infrastructure and Tooling Manager on a variety of daily duties. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Movement and storage of engine build tooling and lifting equipment of all sizes around the facility using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklift trucks, tow trucks, and powered pallet trucks.
  • Performing basic maintenance and inspection of tooling.
  • Ensuring tool storage facilities, workshops, and yard areas are kept to a safe standard.
  • Undertaking basic computer tasks using Microsoft Excel and other software packages.
