Supply Manager at Airbus Defence and Space SAU

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a permanent, professional Supply Manager to join their team. This role is central to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main focal point towards suppliers for all operational activities, with a strong emphasis on achieving On-Time and On-Quality deliveries.
  • Proactively monitor supply chain deviations, lead the development and implementation of recovery plans, and establish containment actions to minimize any negative impact.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce operational costs, and optimize stock levels across the supply chain.
  • Foster seamless workflow by working closely and collaboratively with internal departments including Production, Quality, Engineering, and Program management.
  • Provide support in managing relationships with key suppliers, assisting in contract negotiations and diligently monitoring their service levels.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and other performance metrics to identify trends, derive insights, and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all supply chain operations adhere to internal quality standards and comply with all relevant external regulations and safety requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish at C1 level is necessary.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent team spirit and collaboration capabilities are expected.
  • A valid driving licence is required.

Valued Skills:

  • General knowledge in Supply Chain management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in negotiation skills is a plus.
  • The ability to operate effectively within complex and international environments is highly valued.
