About the Role
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Supply Chain & Quality Manager (m/f) to join the Procurement Operation - Aerostructure Electrics team in Toulouse, France. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between external suppliers and internal functions, managing operational Supply Chain & Quality activities. Your core responsibility will be to ensure the overall performance and compliance of suppliers, guaranteeing punctual and high-quality deliveries while executing the Procurement strategy tactically. You will collaborate closely with current and future parts suppliers within the Electrical domain.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to supplier engagement throughout the lifecycle, from selection and contracting to evaluating change requests and deploying Supply Chain & Quality standards.
- Secure supplier approvals and conduct regular supplier control reviews in strict adherence to company processes and airworthiness authorities' requirements.
- Manage the compliance and maturity of parts and supplier sites, verifying conformity with applicable requirements and ensuring convergence towards industrial maturity targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Provide essential support for both internal and external audits, as well as EASA activities.
Your Profile
- Education & Experience: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Production Engineering, Business, or a University degree with a specialization in Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain and Quality, Production Engineering, Engineering, Customer Support, or Operations is essential.
- A solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and Supply Chain fundamentals (APICS Basics level or equivalent) is required.
- Skills & Core Competencies: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management, and robust negotiation capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to influence, exert assertiveness, and challenge the status quo across all supplier management hierarchical levels.
- High level of autonomy and strong organizational skills.
- Negotiation level proficiency in both English and French.
