About the Role
Airbus Defence and Space is seeking talented Stress Engineers (f/m) to join our Stress Department (TADAA2) in Toulouse, France. As part of an exciting and challenging new upcoming military program within the Military Derivatives department of Air Power, we are building a brand-new team. Your Challenges
As a member of our team, you will undertake the following challenging tasks and activities:
- Analyze and validate metallic, composite, or hybrid structures from a stress perspective.
- Write and/or check stress dossiers, reports, justifications, and test programs/reports.
- Define justification approaches and ensure the progress of activities, with the support of Technical Authority and Senior Engineers.
- Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers and interface with all relevant stakeholders (experts, civil/military authorities, internal/external Airbus engineering teams, sub-contractors).
Your Profile
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following abilities, skills, and competencies with proven experience:
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Stress Analysis.
- Good knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods and tools.
- Good communication skills.
- Autonomous approach with the ability to react and adapt.
- Open-minded and synthetic thinking with the capability to step back and propose new ideas.
- Openness to new digital technologies and understanding of digital solution benefits.
- Advanced level of English and French; Spanish is a plus.
This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.
