About the Role
We are seeking a Software Project Leader (SPL) to take the helm of our Virtualisation & DevOps Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation advanced missile systems, working with cutting-edge technologies at the forefront of European missile system design.
You will be instrumental in planning and bid estimating, allocating work, tracking progress, and collaborating with supplier and project teams to define system requirements. This role also involves resolving issues, managing competing demands, and acting as a point of contact for a portfolio of end users.
The work focuses on developing solutions to implement virtual technologies, replicating and replacing physical hardware across a range of land and maritime defence projects. You will act as a role model, promoting innovative approaches to delivery while upholding our commitment to safe, high-quality code.

What We Offer
- Salary: Circa £55,000 - £67,000 depending on experience.
- Company Bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance).

Working Arrangements & Security
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: A blended approach to on-site and remote working is sought. A minimum of 3-4 days per week in the Bristol, Filton office is required due to the secure nature of the work and secure network access needs.
Security Clearance: Applicants must be British Citizens or dual UK nationals with British citizenship. Security Clearance (SC) is required and managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
