About the Role:

Join BAE Systems as a Senior Project Controller and play a crucial role in supporting project teams. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, maintaining baselines, and diligently reporting on progress. Your expertise will be vital in analyzing performance metrics, identifying key trends, and providing detailed programme insights to senior leadership. This role is instrumental in ensuring the effective management of cost, schedule, and milestone delivery across our strategic programmes.

You will work closely with Project Managers, contributing to the meticulous management of cost, schedule, and quality through the application of accurate data and metrics. Your responsibilities will extend to assisting with monthly EAC and resource profiling, and actively participating in risk and opportunity management to guarantee the successful execution of projects within our Maritime & Land Sector businesses.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate comprehensive experience and knowledge of Project Control policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Utilize working knowledge of industry Project Controls toolsets such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, and Predict.
  • Apply practical experience in intermediate Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Leverage business information toolsets and data analytics tools like Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Support Project Managers in managing cost, schedule, and quality through accurate data and metrics.
  • Assist with monthly EAC and resource profiling.
  • Contribute to effective risk and opportunity management to ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Project Control policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Working knowledge of industry Project Controls toolsets (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, Predict).
  • Experience with Intermediate Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Practical application of business information toolsets/data analytics (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Experience/knowledge in Baseline Control, Cost Estimating/Engineering, Resource Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Analysis, or Financial Management within project environments is advantageous.
  • Holding a Project Management qualification/certification is advantageous.
