About the Role
This role involves applying structured problem-solving methodologies to identify and address root causes. You will be assessing and analysing existing processes, procedures, and systems. You will develop and execute project plans that deliver results within required timeframes, while managing improvement initiatives through all stages of the improvement cycle. A strong focus is placed on ensuring the sustainability of implemented changes to achieve long-term benefits. Additionally, the role supports business improvement workshops and contributes to the delivery of productive utilisation studies.
Core Duties

Essential Skills
- Working knowledge of business improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma.
- Good knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Excellent facilitation skills/leading workshops.
- Proven ability to convey information clearly to stakeholders at every level.
- Ability to understand and breakdown complex issues and communicate to a variety of stakeholders.
The Continuous Improvement Team
You will be part of an improvement team, which forms part of the greater Dreadnought cross-class team, that is responsible for making impactful change to the Dreadnought programme. You will engage with senior leaders (SDA where appropriate) to develop cost improvement strategies. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
