About the Role
Airbus is looking for a candidate to become a Satellite Ground Segment Deployment Responsible (d/m/f) within Airbus Space Engineering, located in Friedrichshafen, Germany. As a Satellite Ground Segment Deployment Responsible (d/m/f) for space ground segments, you will be part of a team based in Friedrichshafen supporting our integrated nation space mission project teams. Beside these operational activities, you will contribute to our transformation plan that has the vision to become national champion for high-performance Ground-Space Mission Solutions. Tasks
You will be in charge of the following main activities:
- Responsible for design and integration of (cloud) infrastructure and applications for ground segments
- Coordination of software infrastructure components
- Implementation of ground segment subsystems
- Support proposals and new technologies (e.g. AI) for neo ground segments
Required Skills
You have the experience and the following skills:
- Degree in computer science or comparable
- Experience with software development/engineering (Agile development, Linux-Environments, DevOps, Cloud platform like Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure design and integration
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms (like Rancher or OpenShift) would be a plus
- Good communication and team skills
- Fluency in German & English
