Role Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Quality Conformance Manager Leader to join the FAL Single Aisle Operational Quality department in Toulouse, France. This role is crucial for the A320 Family Final Assembly Line, focusing on driving the corrective quality management system, resolving crises, and implementing transformation projects to enhance product safety, process compliance, and reduce non-quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Sector QCMs: Functionally lead Sector Quality Corrective Managers, co-defining quality improvement priorities (non-quality reduction, customer satisfaction) with Unit Leaders (UL) and Unit Quality Leaders (UQL).
  • Drive Task Forces & Complex Crisis Resolution: Lead Level 3 PPS MFTs, act as a methodological coach in root cause analysis and process confirmation, and pilot complex incidents (e.g., 9s/PSS 3-4, QSR, SARI).
  • Ensure Cross-Site & Cross-FAL Transversality: Guarantee alignment and cross-site synergies (Saint-Martin/JLL), sharing feedback to implement robust multi-level corrective actions.
  • Steer Performance & Deploy AOS QPS Frameworks: Prepare and consolidate monthly quality performance reviews for Top Management and enhance the maturity of AOS QPS building blocks (MNQ, PPS, CPB).
  • Lead AI & Data Transformation: Serve as Key User for the NQ AI Analytics tool, drive deployment plans, track KPIs, and manage change from shopfloor to Top Management.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven professional experience in operational quality management, corrective quality, or aeronautical manufacturing engineering.
  • Advanced mastery of complex problem-solving methodologies (PPS, 8D, 9s, root cause analysis) and non-quality management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience using and deploying data analytics / AI tools, with Key User capabilities.
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams, manage critical industrial events, and foster cross-site networks.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for all hierarchical levels.
  • Professional fluency in both English and French.
