About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the delivery of complex defence programmes, ensuring full compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements throughout the system life cycle. This role directly contributes to programme execution, customer confidence, and the continued reliability of MBDA products and services.
Reporting within the Quality function, you will be responsible for programme quality management, working closely with engineering, programme, and industrial teams to ensure quality is fully embedded across all activities.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing quality aspects of defence programmes across the full system life cycle.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Assurance processes and procedures aligned with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Certifying conformity of final deliveries (products and services), including management of related delegations.
- Supporting Programme Managers by integrating quality into programme governance and execution.
- Conducting inspection and validation activities in accordance with Control Plans.
- Managing customer and supplier quality requirements, including the development and application of Project Quality Plans.
- Reviewing acquired materials and supplies to ensure compliance with defined quality standards.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives, including activities to reduce Cost of Quality through inspection optimisation and sampling strategies.
- Validating product and programme quality gates from a Quality & Product Assurance perspective.
- Ensuring compliance with national regulations, industry standards, and internal specifications.
- Contributing to safety, health, environmental, and sustainability objectives across processes and products.
What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Aerospace, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent technical specialisation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality role within the Defence sector.
- Strong knowledge of AQAP / PECAL standards.
- Experience working with ISO 9001 and EN 9100 quality management systems.
- Good understanding of engineering and programme activities, including performance tracking.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders at multiple organisational levels.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Fluent English (C1 level).
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
