Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Buyer (f/m) to join our Procurement department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of the Communication & Surveillance Commodity within the PEAA MFT – Communication, Navigation and Surveillance systems team.

About the Role:

You will join a multicultural and highly engaged team of 6 Buyers managing significant annual spend. This is an opportunity to grow in a multi-functional, motivating, and dynamic environment, delivering measurable impact on Airbus results. As part of the Equipment, Systems and Services Procurement (PE) team, you will shape our supplier landscape and develop end-to-end business solutions that directly influence Airbus's cost, revenues, and EBIT contribution. You will collaborate with suppliers, primarily in the US and Europe, to accelerate innovations that add value and differentiation to our customers, positioning you at the forefront of cockpit evolution towards enhanced connectivity and autonomy.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contract & Supplier Management: Manage contracts throughout the product lifecycle, ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and achieve timely delivery of equipment and systems on time, on quality, and on cost.
  • Strategic Alignment & Cross-functional Collaboration: Align with various Company functions (Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Services, Legal, Finance) for purchased products across all Airbus aircraft programs and contribute to the commodity strategy.
  • Procurement Operations & Cost Optimization: Initiate, plan, and execute cost reduction campaigns, implement international calls for tenders, secure optimal pricing for design changes, and manage supplier rating campaigns.
  • Innovation & Risk Management: Collaborate with US and European suppliers and internal functions to accelerate innovations and proactively manage supply chain risks, deviations, and change projects.
  • Services & Aftermarket Strategy: Work with Customer Services to define and implement the Airbus aftermarket strategy for your perimeter, secure contractual frameworks, and manage supplier performance regarding in-service events.

Your Profile:

  • 5-year degree level in Engineering or Business school.
  • Negotiation level of English.
  • Proven experience as an international negotiator with commercial, contractual, and legal awareness.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and procurement, or equivalent stakeholder management experience.
  • A good technical understanding of Aircraft systems, or experience in Engineering, Programmes, Procurement Operations, or Customer Support with efficient project management, is a plus.
