About the Role
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a dynamic Buyer (f/m) to join the Procurement department in Toulouse, France. You will be an integral part of the Communication, Navigation & Surveillance Commodity team, managing an annual spend of approximately $500M. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a multicultural, motivating, and dynamic environment, directly influencing Airbus's cost, revenues, and EBIT contribution through end-to-end business solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Contract & Supplier Management: Manage contracts throughout the product lifecycle, enforce compliance, and ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of equipment and systems.
- Strategic Alignment & Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various Company functions (Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Services) across all Airbus aircraft programs and contribute to the commodity strategy.
- Procurement Operations & Cost Optimization: Plan and execute cost reduction initiatives, manage international tenders, secure optimal pricing for design changes, and conduct supplier rating campaigns.
- Innovation & Risk Management: Proactively engage with internal functions and suppliers to accelerate innovations and manage supply chain risks, deviations, and transversal change projects.
- Services & Aftermarket Strategy: Partner with Customer Services to gather feedback, define, and implement the Airbus aftermarket strategy for your perimeter, ensuring alignment with Product Data strategy and managing supplier performance.

Your Profile
- 5-year degree level in Engineering or Business school.
- Negotiation level of English proficiency.
- Proven experience as an international negotiator with commercial, contractual, and legal awareness.
- Strong background in Supplier Relationship Management and Procurement, or equivalent stakeholder management experience.
- Technical understanding of Aircraft systems is a plus.
- Experience in Engineering, Programmes, Procurement Operations, or Customer Support with project management is a plus.
