About the Role
At the Airbus Helicopters site in Donauwörth, we are looking for a Program Manager SUZ – NH90 TTH (m/f/d) to support current and future projects. You will be based in Donauwörth, near Augsburg, where we develop helicopters from initial concept to flight-ready products, complete with our own test airfield.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for customer and user satisfaction, with a focus on the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces).
- Contract processing and responsibility for new business.
- Conception and marketing of customer solutions in the area of military support & services.
- Definition and implementation of the strategy for all tasks within the perimeter, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Responsibility and control of deliverables that are classified as individual projects or service enhancements under framework agreements, or deliverables from additional individual contracts.
- Functional responsibility for the program within a matrix organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completed Master's/Diploma degree in Aerospace Engineering or a similar field.
- Profound, long-standing experience in project and/or program management.
- Experience or good knowledge in finance, quality management, sales, marketing, and purchasing.
- Experience in acquisition with military customers.
- Experience in the functional leadership of cross-functional teams, preferably in a matrix organization.
- In-depth knowledge of the customer Bundeswehr and its agencies from direct experience.
- Good networking with the customer Bundeswehr, and strong customer orientation.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, service orientation, and reliability.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Negotiation-level German and English language skills; French language skills are an advantage.
