Product Assurance Manager (m/f/d)
Join Airbus Defence and Space's "Quality Space Programme FHN" team as a Product Assurance Manager. In this role, you will coordinate all quality activities at the project level, ensuring the quality of project deliverables and holding responsibility for all quality and safety aspects within these projects.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Quality and Governance Responsibility: Define, implement, and monitor the Product Assurance (PA) plan according to customer requirements (e.g., ECSS standards) and internal Airbus processes.
- Risk and Deviation Management: Identify and assess quality issues, lead Non-Conformance Boards (NCB), and track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Qualification & Verification: Oversee qualification and testing activities for components, subsystems, and complete systems up to final acceptance.
- Supplier Monitoring: Act as the interface to supply chain quality management; conduct audits, reviews, and quality checks with suppliers.
- Customer Contact: Represent all Product Assurance matters to international customers and partners during design reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR) and acceptances.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively shape and optimize existing quality processes and QM methods at the Immenstaad site.
Required Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or a comparable technical qualification.
- Several years of experience in Quality Management / Product Assurance, ideally in the space, aviation, or defence industry.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards (e.g., EN 9100, ECSS standards) and experience with methods such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (8D), and Auditing.
- Strong assertiveness combined with high communication and negotiation skills in an international environment.
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
