Production Test Pilot (d/f/m)

Airbus Helicopters Donauwörth is seeking a motivated Production Test Pilot to join their team in Donauwörth. This role is crucial for managing current and future projects and ensuring the readiness of essential helicopters used for critical missions worldwide.

As part of the Airbus Helicopters Production Flight (Flight Test) Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of flight. This permanent position offers exciting tasks involving unique products and services within a high-tech environment.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Conducting production test flights.
  • Performing certification test flights.
  • Carrying out handover and induction flights with customers.
  • Executing ferry flights of helicopters with subsequent handover to the customer.
  • Implementing current rules and regulations into Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH flight operations.
  • Preparing comprehensive written reports.
  • Providing project support for obtaining certification.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Licensing: EASA ATPL(H) or CPL(H), IFR.
  • Flight Test Rating: Category 1 or 2.
  • Medical: Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 total helicopter flight hours.
  • Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Flight Time: A minimum of 1000 flight hours as PIC.
  • Turbine Helicopter Flight Time: A minimum of 1000 flight hours on Turbine Helicopters.
  • Type Rating: A minimum of one type rating is required from the following: H135/145, Tiger, NH90, CH53.

Soft Skills & Language Proficiency:

  • Personal Attributes: Flexibility, mobility, resilience, and a strong ability to work in a team.
  • Language Skills: Business fluent in both English and German.
