About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Principal Change Lead to join our Digital Data and Cyber Security function. This role is based in Adelaide, Sydney, or Melbourne, reporting to the Digital Adoption Manager. We embrace flexible work arrangements, including 9-day fortnights and hybrid working.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead and execute comprehensive change management, adoption, training, and communication strategies for complex organisational IT initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless transitions, maximizing employee engagement, and driving the successful implementation and sustainability of change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and resilience.

Core Duties:

• Develop and implement change & adoption plans for large scale and complex IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, integration with project schedules, and stakeholder requirements.
• Identify and manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed, documented, and included in project planning to secure their support and commitment.
• Manage the design, delivery, and evaluation of training and development materials that support the adoption of project deliverables, ensuring employees are well-prepared for new changes.
• Lead the execution of change management activities, including change risk assessment, change impact assessments, stakeholder assessments, and facilitation of focus groups and workshops, to ensure successful adoption.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports highlighting the status of change & adoption activities, providing insights and recommendations for alignment with project objectives and informed decision-making by SteerCo and Project Managers.

About You:

• A proven track-record of implementing change plans and building a change management practice is considered advantageous.
• Prior experience in large-scale or complex IT project Change Management is essential.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or Psychology and/or PROSCI/ CCMP certification is considered desirable.
• Ability to hold Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a Baseline clearance is required. Applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
