// Role Specification

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an intern to support the Industrial Service Center 3D Printing department, offering a hands-on opportunity in additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the industrialization of additive manufacturing for metal and plastic components across the entire process chain.
  • Accompany 3D printed components from prototype to series production, including order tracking and control in SAP.
  • Perform design optimization for "Design for Additive Manufacturing" and prepare jobs using CATIA V5 and Materialise Magics.
  • Assist in projects for the introduction and optimization of processes.
  • Manage and analyze test results, including non-destructive (NDT) and destructive testing (DT), and transfer results to the Big Data platform Skywise.

Your Profile:

  • Enrolled full-time student in Engineering, Aerospace, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a comparable field.
  • First practical experience in an industrial or production environment is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Interest in automated manufacturing technologies and production processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Creative and problem-solving mindset.
  • Independent, proactive work style, combined with teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and programming skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills.
