// Role Specification
Airbus Helicopters is seeking an intern to support the Industrial Service Center 3D Printing department, offering a hands-on opportunity in additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the industrialization of additive manufacturing for metal and plastic components across the entire process chain.
- Accompany 3D printed components from prototype to series production, including order tracking and control in SAP.
- Perform design optimization for "Design for Additive Manufacturing" and prepare jobs using CATIA V5 and Materialise Magics.
- Assist in projects for the introduction and optimization of processes.
- Manage and analyze test results, including non-destructive (NDT) and destructive testing (DT), and transfer results to the Big Data platform Skywise.
Your Profile:
- Enrolled full-time student in Engineering, Aerospace, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a comparable field.
- First practical experience in an industrial or production environment is desirable.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Interest in automated manufacturing technologies and production processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Creative and problem-solving mindset.
- Independent, proactive work style, combined with teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and programming skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
