Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions for designing and building resilient navigation systems that combine quantum technology with state-of-the-art solutions.
- Simulate and analyze navigation architectures that fuse classical and quantum sensor signals.
- Participate in defining, integrating, and field-testing a flying hardware demonstrator.
- Present research at leading international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time Master's student in Physics, Robotics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Quantum Technologies, or related technical fields.
- Knowledge of classical navigation methods, sensor fusion, and state estimation theory.
- Solid foundation in mathematics and experience with probabilistic models.
- Basic knowledge of simulation modeling and proficiency in related software tools (Matlab/Python).
- First experiences in quantum sensing are an asset.
- Hands-on laboratory experience is a plus.
