People Advisor – Aftermarket Operations

Rolls-Royce is seeking a People Advisor to support the effective delivery of HR operations within their Aftermarket Operations division. This role, based in Derby, is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract position. You will play a crucial role in meeting business needs in line with the HR delivery model and Company policy, contributing to Rolls-Royce's mission to pioneer the power that matters.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide effective HR support to business managers, ensuring alignment with Company HR policies and processes. Resolve issues requiring face-to-face support or local business context knowledge.
  • Support the local implementation of Company HR processes, including Absence Management, Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy, Engagement Surveys, and Diversity & Inclusion plans.
  • Assist People Partners and Case Specialists to ensure HR processes are executed efficiently and effectively via the HR operating model.
  • Guide line managers to appropriate support channels and maintain strong partnerships with other HR functions for seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate data management by advising the SSC on all changes and complying with approval and notification procedures.
  • Address employee concerns and engagement issues, recommending actions to foster a positive and productive work environment, liaising with the ER team as needed.
  • Support change management, projects, and communications for HR initiatives.
  • Advise and support line managers on their people and team management responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good working knowledge of HR processes and supporting IT systems.
  • Broad change management skillset with the ability to apply project management principles to support organizational change.
  • Well-developed customer and relationship management skills.
  • Broad knowledge of HR best practices across Employee Relations, Resourcing, Development, and Employment Law.
  • A Min Level 5 CIPD qualification is desirable.
