Airbus Helicopters is seeking a skilled New ERP Program SAP S/4 HANA - Data Migration Project Manager (d/f/m) to join the New ERP Program department. Your Location
This position is based at our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube near Augsburg. Here, we develop helicopters from initial concept to airworthy product, with the unique opportunity to see them take off and land on our own test airfield.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Program New ERP, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the end-to-end data migration from various local legacy ERP systems to the new ERP, following the deployment strategy. You will monitor data cleansing activities within business functions such as Support & Service, Industry, Procurement, Global Business, Engineering, Finance, and Quality. A key contribution will be made to the EI Data Quality Journey to align the data quality improvement plan with the New ERP scope per release.
Fully integrated into the New ERP Program, you will act as the project leader for defining and executing data migration. In this function, you will:
- (Validate and) execute the data migration strategy with all relevant stakeholders.
- Align with all internal business functions on the needs and efforts in terms of data cleansing.
- Support the data champions in defining the scope of data for the migration per S/4 release and the data cleansing.
- Monitor and review the progress and budget in the data cleansing activities by each function.
- Report regularly to the New ERP program and Function Steering Committees on progress and alerts.
- Review and improve organization, governance, tools, and means within each function and centrally for conducting data cleansing.
- Set up the data migration factory to industrialize the migration process and ensure targeted Go-Live dates are met.
- Manage the System Integrator’s work package dedicated to data migration.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, on cost, and on quality.
- Manage risks and opportunities related to the project.
- Communicate and onboard on data cleansing and migration.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience (minimum 5 years) in complex IT projects and project management.
- Rigor with facts, plans, and figures.
- Team player with strong relationship management skills (Program, System Integrator, IM, Business).
- Experience in communication and conflict management.
- S/4 HANA knowledge is desirable.
- Professional proficiency in English and German.
