Founding Member of our New Connectivity Design Hub in Manching
Help us build the "Manching Footprint" of Connectivity & Comms. We are looking for a Senior Comms Engineer/Architect/Lead who thrives in "Brand New" environments. Based in our new Manching Design Office, you will take the lead on end-to-end development—from first concept to final qualification of all Connectivity Systems such as Tactical Datalinks (as but not only L-16), Comms Managers, IFDL, IVDL, CCAs C2 links for Air Power products such as Fighters, FCAS, CCAs, MuT, A400M…

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Definition and Design of the Connectivity architecture
- Support Customer (German mainly) meetings, Top Level requirements generation
- Alignment with Domain Connectivity Strategy considering National Programs specific requirements
- Suppliers Selection, RFP and RFI generation and analysis together with Procurement
- L1/L2/L3 Requirement definition and validation
- Support interface definition of interfacing systems and equipment
- Ensure requirement traceability and coverage
- Support L2/L3 system test activity
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Master's degree in Communications/Aerospace-/Software Engineering or comparable studies
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in Connectivity Systems such as Satcom
- Experience in System Design and Development
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, showing a great team spirit
- Fluent in English and German (C1 Level)
