// Role Specification

An opportunity for a Modelling and Simulation System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Modelling and Simulation Team.

The team is in charge of defining, producing, validating and supporting Systems simulation products for Airbus internal and external customers matching the required safety, quality and performance levels according to Airbus systems engineering processes and the needs of our customers.

We are looking for a system engineer capable to build simulator subsystem models in realtime with experience in Software development to complete those models. Be prepared to work in a highly motivated team, and work with actual simulators that we build and deliver for internal and external customers all over the world.

Skills Required:

  • Education: Aeronautical, Telecommunication, Software or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of previous experience.
  • Languages: Advanced level in English.
  • Technical Knowledge: Programming in C, C++, Python, ADA, Linux, QT.
  • Valuable / Desirable: Case tools, GIT, SVN, CI/CD.
