Composite/Metallic Structure Analysis Engineer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a Composite/Metallic Structure Analysis Engineer to support our Site Engineering Team in Nordenham.
Our Identity:
Our Site Engineering Team Nordenham acts as the internal engineering partner for our production. Our dedicated and diverse teams work across a variety of aircraft programs and components, supporting all challenges that can lead to production disruptions. We are also responsible for ensuring our composite parts and assemblies are aviation-worthy. We evaluate production deviations directly at the construction site and maintain close collaboration with other Site Engineering communities in Hamburg, Augsburg, and Stade. We are currently growing, becoming more international and digital, and actively contributing to the structure of future aircraft.
Your Workplace:
You will work in Nordenham, an area characterized by idyllic landscapes. Bremerhaven, Bremen, and Oldenburg are within commuting distance for a big city feel.
Your Tasks:
- Technical Support for Production: Analyze, check, and evaluate all types of complaints and suggestions for improvement from a static strength perspective.
- Solution Development: Develop solutions for complaints, coordinate them transnationally if necessary, and validate them. You will be involved in all steps from concept study to the review and approval of the definition dossier and completion of MODs.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop continuous improvement processes based on the solutions found and coordinate these with other departments and Site Engineering communities in Hamburg, Augsburg, and Stade.
- Responsibility: As a (future) Technical Approver, you will be responsible for approving construction documents.
What You Bring:
- Experience: An engineering degree and ideally several years of professional experience in the aviation sector.
- Authorization: Already a Technical Approver for statics, or a strong desire to develop into this role.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft structures and a passion for developing future aircraft.
- Tool Know-How: Proficiency with common 3D development tools like CATIA and calculation tools such as ISAMI. Familiarity with hand calculations is also required.
- Language Skills: Fluent English, including technical matters. German language skills for conversing with production colleagues are a plus.
- Personality: A responsible, enthusiastic, and open-minded individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
