About the Role

As the Mechanical Production Design Support Team Lead, you will be responsible for a high-performing team of up to six engineers. You and your team will provide critical mechanical production design support across a wide range of projects. This is a key leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your technical expertise and ability to manage conflicting priorities will help shape your team's continued success.

You will guide the team in a rapidly evolving and high demand sector, where smart, adaptable solutions are key to success. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and continue to develop a team of high-performing mechanical engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities and resource allocation, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Develop processes with stakeholders to drive best practice.
  • Identify and remove blockers and foster team collaboration.
  • Provide regular feedback, career development support and team engagement activities.

What We Offer

  • Salary: Circa £57,000 depending on experience.
  • Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site in Bolton.
