About the Role
Airbus is seeking a Material Support Specialist to join the Atlas Support Centre UK team at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. You will play a vital role in ensuring that Team Atlas meets its material demand commitments to support the Maintenance/Flying Programme for the Airbus A400M fleet. This fast-paced role operates at the forefront of aerospace innovation, supporting mission-critical governmental operations.
What You'll Do
- Maintain operational focus on all material aspects related to maintenance and technical issues for the UK customer's A400M fleet globally.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to the Atlas team during the management and recovery of AOG (Aircraft On Ground) aircraft, including participation in conference calls.
- Lead demand escalation for AOG & Work Stop items, including ADFs or depth maintenance parts at risk.
- Serve as the focal point for material demand status updates.
- Follow up on items with unsatisfactory delivery estimates, missing or incorrect paperwork, or incomplete REQs, escalating unresolved issues.
- Monitor demand performance metrics and proactively identify supply risks affecting maintenance activities.
- Participate in operational reviews, planning meetings, and customer governance forums.
About You
- Experience in a Material Support or Supply Chain role.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across operational and support functions.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management and Information Systems such as SAP SP1, S/4 HANA, Airnnav, Microsoft Excel, and CHAOS.
- Proficiency in using MDS for P145 Material Requisitions.
- Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations.
- Awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
