The Kraków R-R Global Capability Centre, launched in March 2025, is an exciting new chapter for Rolls-Royce Group Business Services, supporting global operations and employee services. This evolving hub is crucial for operational efficiency and strengthening global business processes, delivering exceptional services across finance, procurement, HR, Data Analytics, and Service Management.

As the Manager of Learning Excellence & Global Compliance, you will coordinate, govern, and continuously improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and experience of global learning at Rolls-Royce. You will lead continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across learning operations, systems, processes, and programs, and own the enterprise-wide corporate learning compliance framework and annual program. This strategic role connects Learning, Engineering, HSE, Legal, HR, Quality, and regional stakeholders to ensure learning excellence at scale.

Learning Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and govern a portfolio of CI projects aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Establish and maintain Learning Excellence standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Apply CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking) to improve learning processes.
  • Define and track learning performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Drive standardization while enabling regional flexibility.
  • Serve as a thought leader for innovation in learning operations and workforce capability development.

Global Corporate Learning Compliance Leadership

  • Provide strategic program leadership for the EML program, focusing on planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Offer governance framework and oversight, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Track, analyze, and report completion data and learner feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor non-compliance and ensure consistent recommendation and application of consequences.
  • Maintain accurate, auditable records of completion for internal and external reporting.
  • Present program-level updates and compliance/risk factors to ET sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve engagement and compliance.
  • Ensure budget oversight, approvals, and transparency of spend.

Governance, Portfolio & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and manage Learning governance mechanisms, including prioritization and intake of CI initiatives and compliance programs.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across global, regional, and business-unit learning teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on learning risk, compliance, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure transparency through regular reporting, dashboards, and executive updates.
  • Balance competing priorities across regions, functions, and regulatory environments.

Systems, Data & Enablement

  • Partner with HRIS/LMS and Digital teams to ensure learning systems support compliance tracking, reporting, and analytics.
  • Drive data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system adoption for compliance and learning excellence metrics.
  • Enable learning teams through tools, templates, playbooks, and capability-building related to CI and compliance.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Learning, Engineering, Business, Quality, or related field).
  • 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Quality, Compliance, or Operational Excellence in a global, regulated environment.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale continuous improvement initiatives & methodologies.
  • Ability to influence at ET level and all levels to ensure framework principles are upheld and stakeholders are engaged.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to develop and undertake reporting and analytics, ensuring data integrity and appropriate communication while adhering to data privacy sensitivity.
