About the Role
Are you an IT Buyer seeking a Lead Buyer position, or an Indirect Buyer interested in technology and your first role in IT Procurement? If so, our IT procurement team has an exciting international opportunity for you. We are looking for individuals who want to expand their existing knowledge and skills in a flexible and dynamic role that offers professional challenge.
Our IT procurement team leads all aspects of IT spend across the Group. This includes areas such as Enterprise Software, Engineering Software, Manufacturing Software, SaaS (Software as a Service), Services, Cyber, Networks, Hardware, Security, AI, and High Performance Computing (HPC). There is an opportunity to specialise in one area, develop into new ones, and we encourage our people to broaden their knowledge over time.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Is an established IT procurement practitioner, OR is willing to learn and develop these skills with good procurement knowledge in other Indirect categories.
- Is comfortable working in an international context.
- Builds strong internal and international relationships.
- Is able to own and run large procurement projects to support our Category Managers.
More importantly, we are looking for someone who understands IT procurement or is comfortable with learning and developing these skills, possesses strong soft and communication skills, and can contribute effectively within our team.
What We Can Offer You
- Salary: Circa £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
- Working Arrangement: Dynamic (hybrid) working, with 2-3 days per week on-site.
- Company Bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance).
- Pension: Maximum total contribution of up to 14%.
