Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is looking for a qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join their team on a permanent basis. This professional-level role is part of the Flight Line job family.
Responsibilities:
- Performing rigging work at Station 1.
- Conducting system tests on aircraft.
- Systematic and comprehensive troubleshooting of reported defects during testing.
- Professional repair and replacement of mechanical components.
- Proficient use of the OPAL system in daily operations.
- Carrying out planned and unforeseen maintenance work.
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or a comparable technical qualification.
- Experience in mechanical processing is desirable.
- Good German language skills and confident technical English for working with manuals and documentation.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Willingness for business trips (international travel/campaigns).
- High sense of responsibility, teamwork, precise working methods, and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical contexts.
