Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is looking for a qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join their team on a permanent basis. This professional-level role is part of the Flight Line job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing rigging work at Station 1.
  • Conducting system tests on aircraft.
  • Systematic and comprehensive troubleshooting of reported defects during testing.
  • Professional repair and replacement of mechanical components.
  • Proficient use of the OPAL system in daily operations.
  • Carrying out planned and unforeseen maintenance work.

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Experience in mechanical processing is desirable.
  • Good German language skills and confident technical English for working with manuals and documentation.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Willingness for business trips (international travel/campaigns).
  • High sense of responsibility, teamwork, precise working methods, and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical contexts.
