Flight Trials Lead - Integration and Missile Validation (IMV)
An exciting opportunity has emerged on an established international project to lead a variety of flight trials activities in support of domestic and international customers in the UK and abroad.
The Opportunity:
As Flight Trials Lead, you will report directly into the Chief Systems Proving Engineer. You will be responsible for the delivery, coordination, and management of all flight trial support for domestic and international campaigns. This includes planning, driving strategy, and managing upcoming flight and firing trials in support of the Mid-life Upgrade programme.
Although a lead role, this position comes with opportunities to travel and provide hands-on support to firing trials in the UK and overseas. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to build and lead a small team delivering critical capability in support of missile development.
As part of the project team, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting, high-performance product and to develop and broaden your technical skills by working within a dynamic proving team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with other areas of MBDA and the international customer community.
