We are looking for you as a highly motivated and solution-oriented Export Compliance Specialist (d/m/w) for our team in Bremen. Bring your dynamic expertise to lead and advise our departments in the implementation of foreign trade law and specific Airbus guidelines. At the same time, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant export control regulations and laws, playing a central role in minimizing risks and ensuring smooth international trade.

Your Contribution to Our Joint Team Success

  • Regulatory Monitoring: Proactively observe, monitor, and implement the continuous development of national and international export control laws and regulations (incl. EU Dual-Use Regulation, US EAR, ITAR).
  • Approval & Licensing: Prepare comprehensive export control documentation and maintain databases to ensure timely release of all shipments. Apply for and manage export licenses with the responsible authorities.
  • Classification: Categorize goods, technologies, and software according to the relevant export control lists.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct internal audits, compliance checks, and analyze changes in legislation to derive necessary actions.
  • Consulting & Contact Person: Act as a trusted advisor and central point of contact for various internal interfaces on all export control matters.
  • Process Optimization: Drive the continuous improvement of the export control area, including the development and execution of training programs and process optimization. Ideally, initial experience working with AI applications.

If all requirements are met, you can expect a gross annual salary between €77,000 and €92,000.

Your Boarding Pass

  • Education: Completed studies in business administration, foreign trade, or a comparable vocational training with several years of relevant professional experience.
  • Expertise: In-depth experience with German, European, and US export control regulations (AWG, AWV, Dual-Use Regulation, EAR, ITAR) and expertise in goods classification.
  • Technical Affinity: Experience with export-relevant software (e.g., SAP GTS) and Google Workspace are advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to convey complex issues simply and effectively.
  • Analytical Mindset: Attention to detail, solution orientation, and decisiveness.
  • Teamwork: Enjoy working and supporting each other in the team.
  • Persuasiveness: Presentation, persuasion, and assertiveness skills.
  • Languages: Business fluent German and advanced English skills.
