About the Role

A new opportunity exists for a Eurodrone (MALE RPAS) Design Engineer within the Electrical System Installation Design Department. This role, based in Spain, will focus on supporting the Electrical System Installation (ESI) development for the Eurodrone Fuselage and Empennage, integrating into a multidisciplinary Electrical System Installation Design team.

While the primary focus is on the Eurodrone program, you will also have the chance to contribute to and learn about other development design activities within the department, including those for FCAS, Eurofighter, A400M, and legacy aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Design Definition Dossier creation for Electrical Wiring Interconnection Diagrams (EWIS).
  • Design electrical harnesses.
  • Design supports and bracketry.
  • Design electromechanical installations, including equipment, electrical boxes, and harnesses.
  • Undertake associated technical management activities.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Educated in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Engineering, specifically within a Design/Airframe Department.
  • Knowledge in Electrical and/or Electromechanical Design fields (e.g., Electrical Diagrams, Harnesses, Electrical Boxes, Electromechanical Installations).
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 is essential; knowledge of CATIA V6/3DX is desirable.
  • Experience with Electrical Diagramming Tools such as See-XP or Capital Logic is required.
  • High adaptability to work on new topics, new business areas, and in a network mode.
  • Advanced level of English is required (Spanish is the mother tongue).
  • Knowledge of German, French, or Italian would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and work in a team collaborative international environment.
  • Self-organized and able to propose new ideas.
