The dual study program begins on October 1, 2027. Prior to the start of the program, a mandatory internship as stipulated by the study regulations must be completed. Airbus offers this compulsory internship from August 1, 2027, to September 30, 2027.

Your Daily Business (Responsibilities)

  • Learning by Doing: Support experienced engineers and quickly take ownership of your own projects.
  • High-Tech Up Close: Immerse yourself in the construction, materials engineering, and workflows of a true tech pioneer.
  • Green Aviation: Assist in building high-end aircraft with a strong focus on environmental protection.

What Awaits You (Program Structure)

Over 4 years at HAW:

  • Core Skills (Semesters 1–4): Foundational scientific and technical principles.
  • Specialization (from Semester 5): Choose one of four study directions:
    • Production Technology and Management
    • Development and Design
    • Energy Technology
    • Digital Engineering and Mobility

Upon successful completion of the program, there is a possibility of being hired within the A320 Family at Airbus Operations or Airbus Aerostructures.

Your Profile (Requirements)

  • Application Documents: Comprehensive CV (from primary school, month/year to month/year), your last 2 school report cards (all pages).
  • Foundation: General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification.
  • Performance: Good grades in Mathematics and Physics or IT.
  • Language Skills: Minimum C1 German (for international qualifications).
  • Mindset: Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, with a passion for teamwork.
