During the dual study program as a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on various projects and activities and can take on diverse roles. At the beginning of your studies, we offer you basic mechanical training and you will get to know all manufacturing departments of aircraft construction. Depending on your chosen field of study, you can be deployed in various areas of production development, industrialization, digitalization, quality assurance and testing, as well as in design and development.

Your studies at the university will provide you with the theoretical foundations for the practical phases within the company, where you will gain direct insight into all relevant technical areas of mechanical engineering. You will learn the fundamentals of mechanical engineering with knowledge in metal processing and handling common materials, as well as an introduction to CNC and control technology. The study content includes Mathematics, Technical Physics, Mechanics and Strength Theory, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Design Theory, Informatics, Business Administration, and Project Management.
