Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a permanent Training Specialist to join the EAE GRUEMA training department at their Matacán facility.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility is to support the definition, development, evaluation, and improvement of the training program for the new C295 platform. This includes building a new syllabus for the GRUEMA transport course.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze EAE operational requirements.
  • Identify training needs for different target populations.
  • Identify critical skills, knowledge, behaviors, and performance conditions.
  • Prioritize tasks based on operational criticality and risk.
  • Identify gaps in curriculum, instructor qualification, and training support processes.
  • Translate operational tasks into training objectives and learning outcomes aligned with C295 operational standards.
  • Recommend the distribution of training content across classroom, training devices, and aircraft phases.
  • Support the definition of structured syllabi for type rating and recurrent courses.
  • Define instructor competency requirements.
  • Establish student assessment criteria.
  • Produce or update training material structures, course structures, and training matrices.
  • Analyze training data, performance trends, and instructor/student feedback to recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Pilot with at least 2000 FH experience in multipilot/multiengine transport aircraft, including C-295 flight experience.
  • Pilot with at least 1500 FH experience in tactical air transport, including C-295 flight experience.
  • Valid ATPL (A) license.
  • Pilot with experience as a C-295 Simulator Flight Instructor.
  • OACI English level 5 in force.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite at a user level.
  • Experience in training systems development will be considered.
  • Experience managing teams will be considered a plus.
