Business Support Officer - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

About the Role:
As a Business Support Officer (BSO), you will provide essential administrative and operational support to a designated Business Unit. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the specific needs of the Business Unit but will encompass a wide range of supportive functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pro-active, accurate, and comprehensive administrative support to the Business Unit.
- Manage extensive and complex diary scheduling.
- Arrange extensive and complex travel, both international and domestic.
- Process detailed expenses accurately.
- Organise meetings, events, workshops, and training days, including participation and action management when required.
- Proficiently utilise MS Office applications and understand and utilise MBDA tools and systems.
- Participate in UKSF initiatives and personal development activities.
- Provide support for GIFTS & Hospitality processes (utilisation of the G&H tool).
- Assist with Donations & Sponsorship administration.
- Support Invoicing and Purchase Order (PO) processes, including requisition processing and tracker maintenance.
- Contribute to communication and engagement activities, including Intranet updates and communications dissemination.
- Engage with stakeholders at a high level across various departments.
It is essential that you undertake these duties with flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm, operating as an integral part of the team.
Please note: This role is based in our Stevenage office. Occasional flexibility to travel to other sites may be required.
