We are seeking experienced Equipment Mechanics (Ausrüstungsmechaniker) (d/m/w) for our A320 final assembly line in Hamburg. If you are looking for a dynamic and varied workday, you are in the right place!

Your Location

You will work in Hamburg, the largest production facility for civil aircraft. Located on the southern banks of the Elbe, there is the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your free time, where a vibrant world city meets nautical heritage.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Process, document, and report production orders and work instructions.
  • Install mechanical system components such as brackets, piping, actuators, hydraulics, flight controls, fuel systems, etc.
  • Perform installations/auxiliary tasks for simple electrical system components.
  • Test aircraft systems including hydraulics, fuel, fire extinguishers, doors, and hatches.
  • Prepare and integrate aircraft system components in accordance with defined and applicable rules.
  • Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts or components.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in your work environment.

Your Boarding Pass (Qualifications)

  • Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic (Fluggerätmechaniker) (d/m/w) with several years of professional experience in aircraft construction, OR
  • Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic (Industriemechaniker) Metal (d/m/w) or Mechatronics Technician (Mechatroniker) (d/m/w) with several years of professional experience in aircraft construction or an industrial environment.
  • You are loyal, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • You enjoy working in a team but also take responsibility independently.
  • The safety and health of yourself and others are your top priority.
  • You possess a high degree of quality awareness and punctuality.
  • You are open to new ideas and willing to do things differently.
  • You are qualified or willing to broaden your qualifications.
  • You consider documenting your own work to be a matter of course.
  • Very good German and basic English skills complete your profile.
  • Working in shifts is not a problem for you.
