Apprenticeship as a Lightweight Aircraft Structures Builder (m/f/d) at Airbus in Augsburg

Role Overview:
Lightweight Aircraft Structures Builders are specialists in the industrial manufacturing and assembly of components made from fiber composite (CFK/GFK) and aluminum. You will fabricate individual parts from CFK/GFK according to technical documentation, utilizing various manufacturing processes such as wet lamination, prepreg, and infusion. You will also be responsible for the setup, operation, and optimization of complex production facilities. Repairing and reworking various material combinations, especially fiber composites, is also a key part of the training. Quality inspection and documentation of work are integral to the role.

What We're Looking For:

  • A very good secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss), good intermediate school leaving certificate (mittlere Reife), or Abitur.
  • Good German and good English language skills.
  • Personal interest in mathematical and physical correlations.
  • Pronounced technical understanding.
  • Manual dexterity and practical skills.
